京剧脸谱

京剧脸谱（Peking Opera Mask），即中国京剧演员脸上的绘画，是用于舞台演出时的化妆艺术。每一种性格特点的人物都有一种固定的样式和颜色。例如，包拯的黑额头上有一个月牙儿（crescent moon）, 猴王孙悟空的脸谱是猴脸的形象。同时，脸谱上的各种颜色也有不同的内涵。红色指忠诚勇敢，多为正面角色。黑色代表直爽、刚毅(resoluteness)的性格。白色用于阴险（sinister）、自大的人物。京剧脸谱艺术是广大戏迷非常喜爱的一门艺术，国内外都很流行，已经被公认为中华民族传统文化的标识。
