Mobile apps are great and they can do so much to enhance our lives. Here, TEENS has picked out four of our current favorites that we hope you will enjoy too. Otto Radio – Android/iOS

Thanks to modern technology, we now have access to all kinds of information. However, all that info can sometimes make us feel a bit lost.

Luckily, Otto Radio, a digital (电子的) radio app, may have a solution to this. Unlike traditional radio, Otto Radio plays podcasts (播客) and news based on your interests. You can choose your desired topics from 22 different categories such as fashion, fitness, food and music.

Meanwhile, the app can customize (个性化设置) a mix of podcasts and news for mornings, evenings and weekends. You can specify (指定) that you want to hear “extra news” in the mornings or “just podcasts” on the weekends.

AroundMe – Android/iOS

One of the largest photography networks on the web at the moment, AroundMe can either show you photos that were taken around your current location, or let you go into the settings to select a specific spot on Earth to see photos from.

The app has an innovative (创新的) view that detects (测出) your location and will show you any nearby points of interest within a certain area. Are you feeling hungry? Simply click on the “restaurants” function and it will show you all your nearby options (选择). You can even book a hotel or find the movie schedule (时间表) of a nearby theater.

As one of the world’s most used local search applications, and available in more than 10 different languages including Chinese, this app must be doing something right. Moji Maker – iOS

Now emojis (表情符号) have become an important part of online conversations, some people may wish there were an easy way to design their own. Moji Maker is here to help that happen.

The app can let you build your own personalized emojis to convey your emotions to friends. You can browse (浏览) from thousands of designs and put together your own emojis.

The app also allows users to trade their unique designs with one another, giving access to tens of thousands of custom (定做的) creations from around the world. The emojis can be added to your collection and sent to pals from your keyboard in an instant (立刻).


Timeblocks – Android/iOS

Is your calendar always so cluttered (混乱的) that you can’t even see it clearly? Perhaps you should try Timeblocks, which could help you manage your schedule (日程安排) in a more simple and organized way.

Timeblocks is a mobile planner that combines a calendar, to-dos and notes together. It is able to display all of your events on one screen as if you were using a desk calendar. No matter how many events you have, it automatically adjusts to display them all. The app not only allows users to add various events, but also to transfer (转移) and edit (编辑) them with one touch.
