Welcome to this year’s English speech competition. This year’s topic is "the English novel I like best” 。It is a really interesting topic 。 Taking part in this competition is not only a great opportunity for you to improve both your spoken English and listening ability ，but also does good to helping you develop a great reading habit. In this contest ， the time of every participant’s speech will be limited within 5 minutes. Every participant is expected to speak fluently ，and your pronunciation should be as precise as possible.
