【摘 要】Appearance management includes all of the personal appearance of the attention,decision and action process.Each person will do some form of appearance management every day.By analyzing the clothes behavioral characteristics and body modification approach of modern urban middle-aged women,based on the social gender theory,to explain the social significance of women＇s appearance management from two aspects.%外观管理包含了所有有关个人外观的注意、决策与行动过程,每个人每天都会进行某种形式的外观管理工作。现代城市中年女性的着装行为、身体修饰方式等有自己的特点。现代城市中年女性的外观管理作为一种文化的产物,有其独特的社会意义。
