Very happy to hear from you. Learning that you show great interest in the popular TV show “Chinese Poetry Competition”, I am more than glad to give you a brief introduction and share some practical advice concerning / regarding poetry learning.

(Since the program was) first broadcast in 2016, it has enjoyed great popularity and attracted talented competitors, among whom is the winner this year called Wu Yishu, a 16-year-old high school student from Shanghai. The program, aimed at arousing public enthusiasm for our wonderful traditional culture, proves to be a great success. Not only does it remind us of those classic Chinese poems, but also it helps us better appreciate the beauty of poetry.

As for how to learn poems well, I advise that you read between the lines while reading aloud to have a better understanding of each poem. Additionally, recitation is also an important way of learning poetry. Hopefully with my advice above, you will enjoy learning poetry.

 The hit show, produced by Chinese Central Television (CCTV), has enjoyed great popularity since it was

first launched in 2016.

 Wu Yishu, a 16-year-old girl from Shanghai, came out on top in this year’s season final.

 First broadcast in 2016, this televised competition is definitely a national sensation(轰动), with the           

champion this year being Wu Yishu, a 16-year-old high school student from Shanghai. enable us to do sth
