live.Unluckily,the environment is getting worse and worse now，so we must be friendly to the Earth.In my opinion,one of the most useful ways to protect the environment is to have a low carbon life.

First,when yougo shopping,try to use cloth bags which can be used for years instead of paper and plastic ones.What’s more,it’s necessary for us to take public transport more often.Sometimes undergrounds are even more fast than private cars.In this way,air pollution will be reduced and we won’t have to wear masks everyday any more.Last but not least,try to use every piece of paper in a proper way.

If we want to live a better life in the future,we must take actions as soon as possible.Just remember,we protect the Earth in order to protect ourselves.Let’s join the school “Fiends of the Earth”Club and protect it immediately!

Currently,my school is launching an activity whose theme is that actions change the world to advocate the low carbon living.

In the activity,we are required to go to school or some other place by bike or by foot as much as possible instead of by bus.And when the Christmas comes,sending e-greeting cards instead of tridional cards of which are made of wood as we know.Besides,we should use both sides of every piece of paper and we should save water as well as electricity. Presently, a new lifestyle called low carbon life is spreading every corner of our country. The concepts of low carbon are low energy and no waste. It is sucha significant project that I can’t wait to present my ideas on how to promote it.

On thefirst place, a no-car day is supposed to set up every week in our school. Because cars not only cause serious air pollution but also waste energy. On no-car day, neither students nor teachers are allowed to drive to school. Meanwhile, just walk, jump, cycle or run. Use our legs and enjoy the fun. On the second place, we had best not use plastic bags any more. No one can stand the “white pollution”.

So, it is wise to use bags which can be reused again and again. Finally, one thing that we should keep in mind: every big thing comes from the subtle. Therefore, as students, we ought to turn out the lights the moment we leave, turn off the tap in time, and reuse our textbook and so on. All in all, it weighs greatly for all of us to put the low carbon lifestyle into practice. Just set our mindto these: no-car day, no plastic bags, and no waste. Let’s do it now.
