字母组合的读音卡片及图片 单元教学活动1 Let’s do it.
上课时,教师可以首先让大家一起唱字母歌,在学生唱的时候,让学生默写这26个字母,然后边读边检查纠正错误,最后一起读或唱字母歌.等这几个基本活动完成后,教师说:“Now I want you to look at the 26 letters and put together that have the same sound, for example, Bb, Ee… Do you understand?” 教师在黑板上画出几条横线,以便让学生归类。等学生归类之后,教师和学生一起检查是否正确。然后,教师对学生说:“Now please look at your books. All the letters are dressed up. Please look carefully and write their names in the boxes.” 教师让学生根据图形写下26个字母。写完之后,教师说:“Look here!” 教师指最下面的caterpillar(毛毛虫)说:“This is a lovely caterpillar. On his body he’s got 26 letters. And he can say many words. Aa is for an apple. Bb is for a bee. Can you follow his sentences and say the rest of the letters? Now first please say it in pairs. Then we’ll say it in class.” 教师让大家两人一组先说,最后再全班一起说。这26个字母可以这样说:

Uu is for an umbrella. Vv is for a vest.

第二部分是字母组合的读音练习。以ir 组合的词也有不少,但教师只需让学生掌握已给的这些单词的读音就可以了。这些单词都是需要记住拼写的单词。所以教师可以带着大家读完后,让学生听写这八个单词。
单元教学活动3 Look, act, say and match. 第三部分是字母的读音练习。英语中有几个字母本身的读音就是一个单词。比如,字母A 可以是a 。通过学习,激发学生对字母学习的兴趣。 B 可以是bee C 可以是see, sea G 可以是Gee! I 可以是I O 可以是Oh! P 可以是pea T 可以是tea T&V可以是TV U可以是You
而且许多缩写字母都能表达具体的事情或东西及团体等。如BTV, BBC, VOA, MTV, CD, VCD, AM, PM, WC, UN, USA, PRC。教师可以给出许多类似的缩写字母让学生读,并要求学生能进行正确地听写和拼写。
单元教学活动4 Tongue twisters.
第四部分是绕口令。绕口令主要练习本单元所学的ir 音节。教师可以让学生进行反复的练习。比较单词first, third. 教师可以把单词换成别的,适当改变以达到反复训练语音的目的. 单元教学活动5 Match the right sound. 第五部分是拼词游戏。该游戏由两个部分组成。第一部分是学生应根据图中所缺的音将字母填到单词中。第二部分是学生要将前半部分的单词与后半部分的词尾拼在一起。这部分礼貌的单词都学国,可以让学生自己先做,再互相检查,最后再具体检查一遍让学生联系朗读和拼读.
单元教学活动6 Make your own fun letters. 第六部分是让学生自己创造新的字母形象。如果学生在家已经完成,教师就可以让学生分组到前面展示;如果有些同学没有完成,教师可以让完成的同学到前面展示自己的给大家看,然后,教师再将该部分留成课后作业。 单元教学活动7 Alphabet actions. 第七部分是按字母顺序练习动词。教师可以让学生边学动词边做动作。所有这些动词都是生活中的词汇,所以比较容易表现。在大家熟悉单个动词的基础上,教师可以带着把它们变成动词短语,如,act like a monkey, bend your body, clap your hands, drink juice/water, eat a cake, fly a kite, hide a book, iron a shirt, kick the ball, listen to music, move the legs, nod your head, open the door, paint a picture, queue up(排队),read a book, sleep in bed, touch the table, visit a school等。通常来说记短语要比记单个的动词容易得多。 单元教学活动8 Co lour, share and say. 第八部分是让学生涂色的练习。学生可以根据自己的爱好将句子和图画涂成各种各样的颜色,最后,全班同学可以相互观看所涂的效果如何。
