Campus life Do you enjoy the campus life? If you do, give some specific examples to show it; if not, describe the ideal campus life.

Good morning, everyone, it is my honor to stand here and give you a speech. My topic today is ”campus life”. As a college student, I have already experienced four years life in campus, and have many happy memories with my friends. Today I would like to share my stories with all of you, my new classmates.

Actually, it is the first time that I leave my hometown and stay in a strange city for least three years. Although I’ve only been here for three months, I do enjoy my life here. Sometimes I may feel lonely because my family is distant, but studying and playing with all my friends makes me happy and cheerful. To make my life more colorful, I joined the Graduate Student Council. Within the council, I can work with many other students and I have learned a lot from them.

Last month, our law college organized the English Talent Competition. A large number of students participated in this activity, and so did I. During the competition, we need to present a dancing performance. So we spent much time preparing for the show together and practicing over and over again. All the elegant dancing moves were designed by us, and we are very proud of it. After the activity, although we did not get the championship, we still enjoyed the whole process very much. And I knew that this special experience would become a beautiful part of my campus life here.

Standing here, I would like to say that during our campus life, we do not have too much pressure from the work or our family. This school life may be the most simple and beautiful period of our life. Personally I do hope that everyone should think about how to make these three years fruitful and pleasant, instead of wasting the cherished time.
