Yue Pan (潘越)
Short Biography:
Born on October 21, 1991 in Jiangsu province. Now, Pan Yue is a PhD student of Department of Modern Physics, University of Science and Technology of China. She received B.S. degree in physics from Suzhou University. She joined Peng Haiping’s group of the BESIII Laboratory in 2013 to do the data analysis. Her research is focused on the measurement of charm hadron decay.
Talk: Measurement of Singly Cabibbo Suppressed Decays

Abstract:
Using 567 pb−1 of data collected with the BESIII detector at a center-of-mass energy of sqrt(s) = 4.599 GeV, near the Λc+Λc- threshold, we study the singly Cabibbo-suppressed decays Λc+ → pπ+π- and Λc+ → pK+K-. By normalizing with respect to the Cabibbo-favored decay Λc+ → pK-π+, we obtain ratios of branching fractions: [B(Λc+ → pπ+π-)/B(Λc+ → pK-π+)] = (6.70 ± 0.48 ± 0.25)%, [B(Λc+ → -pΦ)/B(Λc+ → pK-π+)] = (1.81 ± 0.33 ± 0.13)% and [B(Λc+ → pK+K- non-Φ)/B(Λc+ → pK-π+)] = (9.36 ± 2.22 ± 0.71)*10-3, where the uncertainties are statistical and systematic, respectively. The absolute branching fractions are also presented. Among these measurements, the decay Λc+ → pπ+π- is observed for the first time, and the precision of the branching fraction forΛc+ → pΦ and Λc+ → pK+K- non-Φ is significantly improved.
