Dear Jason,How is it going? Our school is going to hold a Chinese Summer Camp for international students this summe vacation. Knowing that you are keen on Chinese culture, I am writing to invite you to join in it.

The camp will last 10 days, from July 11 to July 20 in our school. It covers a variety of activities, ranging from learning daily Chinese to Chinese history and traditional culture. In addition, the camp provides a chance for members to visit some museums, which is a good way to learn about our history. If you are interested, please sign up before July 11 on our school website.

My name is Hong, and I am glad to tell you that I want to join the summer camp. I want to improve my spoken English and listening English according to this activity. I have a great interested in seeing the English movies and singing English songs. I like play games, that is my hobbit. Also, I can play the piano well. I think I’m really friendly and outgoing, so I want to live in a friendly host family too. I make sure that I could have a great fun with my host family.

My name is Wang Shan. I’m a 16-year-old girl studying in Beijing Yangguang Middle school. Listening to the music and taking photos are my favorite things to do in my spare time. I’m good at communicating with others and always ready to help other people. Furthermore, I love nature. Wherever I’m free, I’ll travel to beautiful natural attractions to experience natural wonders with my family. In addition, I love peace, for I hope all nations in the world can live in a peaceful environment and lead a happy life. The purpose of my intending to join the Peace and Friendshoip Summer Camp is to make more friends from foreign countries, and to have an access to the insight of foreign cultures. I hope I can do something for the world peace, and I’m sure I’ll be learning a lot from the Summer Camp.
