Chinese family education

I will show you the Chinese family education from the following aspects, educational goal、content、method and result.

Parents want their kids to be happy, but they also want them to study well. The terrible thing is that many parents confuse I want to study well with I want you to be happy. To make them live a successful life, they set specific goals for their children without considering the children’s real wishes. If there is unhappiness or contradiction , they will say, I#39;m doing this for you.

About education content

The learning-only theory leads parents to focus their attention on children’s academic performance rather than children#39;s interests or inner voice..

Parents invest too much in their children#39;s intelligence, neglecting health and moral education, and there is a serious imbalance between intellectual education and moral, physical, aesthetic and labor education. Many parents neglect to cultivate a healthy personality for their children

About Education method

More matter, less time. Instead of accompanying, parents are more willing to sign up for all kinds of after-school classes for their children and hire the best teachers for them.

Talk more and do less. Few parents can lead by example. They will tell their children what is right, but they will not tell them what they should do by their actions.

Focus on the result rather than the process. Parents care more about the result than the process. They care about the success and failure of their children, but they don#39;t care about the reason behind the result

About education result

Parents are eager to make their children successful, especially concerned about their children#39;s academic performance. This makes children lack of practical ability and social adaptability. So Chinese children may have a superb academic performance but most of them are not independent and autonomous enough.
