Lucy: good morning, Strong. What are your plans this weekend? 早上好,斯特朗.你周末有什么打算吗?

Strong: I was thinking of going surfing. Wanna come? 我打算去冲浪!想一起去吗?

L: sounds like great, but what about the weather? Have you seen the forecast? 好啊,但是天气怎么样啊?你看天气预报了吗? S: clear and sunny. 天气很好,大晴天.

L: but it is cloudy now, isn't it? 但是现在天气很阴,是吧?

S: yes. Some clous are rolling in, but it's gonna pass over. It's supposed to clear uptomorrow morning.

现在是有点阴,但是很快就会过去了.天气预报说明天早上天气会转晴. L: are you sure we'll be all right? 你确信我们会没事吗? S: as long as it doesn't rain. 只要不下雨就没事的.

L: how many times have you gone surfing, anyway? 那你之前去过几次啊?

S: just four times, but I can hold my own. So are you interested? 只有4次,但是我能照顾好自己,你有兴趣一起去吗? L: I don't know. I've a lot of work to do. 我不确定,我还有好多工作要做.

L: lt's a lovely day today, isn't it? 今天天气不错啊！

S: Yes, it is not at all like the TV said it would be 是啊 ,一点也不像天气预报上说得那样。

L: Yes, you said iL It was supposcd to be sunny ycsterday, so I left my umbrella at home. 是啊 ,天气预报说昨天是晴天 ,我出门时就没带伞． S: The morning was bcautiful, but the sun didn't last long. 早上的天气还不错 ,但是一会儿天就阴了．

L Yeah, I was caught in the afternoon showers and got soaked. 是这样的。我昨天下午刚好碰上下雨 ,浑身都湿透了．

s: So did I. Suddcnly it started pouring down. I had to take shelter in a book Store． 我也是．昨天突然就下起了大雨 ,我只好躲到书店里去避雨． L: It was pouring buckets. 真是大雨倾盆啊!

S: I know. I thought it would rain all afternoon, but then suddenly it clcared up and it was sunny again.

我当时想可能要下一下午L可是突然又放晴了’太阳又！出来了． L: We really have had some miserable wealther hcre this year. 今年天气真是糟糕．

S: I guess you arc right. And it's unscasonably cold. I used to wear T-shirts in September, but these days I can't wear less than a sweater.

是啊．天气异常地冷 ,我以前九月份都穿短袖 ,现在都不得不穿毛农了． L Yes. I hopC the weather will settle down soon. 是啊 ,希望天气快点稳定下来．

S: The forecasters can't seem to be abe to predict anything thcsc days. The weather is so changcable all over the world

这几年 ,天气预报好似一点都不准．全球的天气都变化莫测． L Do you think 8lobal warming might be responsible? 你觉得这是全球变暖造成的吗？

S: I don't know. But cvcrything happens for a reason 我不知道．万事郝有原因吧．

L: Maybe, but Ijust wish that the temperaturn didn't change so drastically. 只希望温度起伏不要太大
