J：we have been learning English for 6 years ,so what do you guys think of English?

Y: with the development of globalization, English plays a more and more important role in our daily life . by learning English ,we can open our minds. I love reading English classis. Though many of them have been translated into Chinese ,but the original is always the best.

D：Wow, you can read the original works. So great. The whole page of English always make me feel sleepy. But you just enjoy from it. W: to be honest, I don’t have a particular affection for English. Though people always say that English is getting more and more important, for me ,English is nothing but for exam. Buying the domestic goods is just enough for me. Chinese is always the best. I am proud to be a Chinese.

J:However ,learning English does not concern to your identity as a Chinese. It’s a tool for us to better explore the world, like the math. You say English is nothing to you. However ,you are a computer major student . Inevitably, you would meet a lot of English words in the procession of study.

W: eh,it seems that you are right.

J:There are many characters in the computer that are the shortage


of English words. If you excel in English and you know these words well. It would be no surprise that your learning process is faster than others.

Y:yeah,I totally agree with you. Apart from that ,we can see a more wonderful world. Having a good command of English we can talk to people all over the world freely. This will undoubtedly help us have a better understanding of the world .

D: English is indeed very important. in the past ,I only listen to Chinese songs, now I have a favor for English songs. I can always find something inspirational from it. Kind of like having a dialogue with the inner me. I love it.

J：there is no reason for us to not learn English well. I heard that there will be an English cornor tonight .Would you guys like to come and practice with your English. D&W&Y:More than glad.
