The first reason is setting a goal gives us a direction. Whether it's a small goal or a big goal, they direct us to earn something we want. Additionally, setting a goal supports us to persist in doing our work. Once we set a goal we remember what to do to achieve that. It seems as an alarm clock, which reminds us of our assignments. What's more, if we're used to set goals, we will be self-disciplined person. Goals enable us to recognize ourselves better and try harder.

All in all, Goal setting direct us to earn what we want and support us to keep doing it. Therefore, we require to set goals to make our life more directional.
