Pride and Prejudice

Dear teacher and students, good morning, I am honored to have this valuable opportunity to speak here.In today's speech, I would like to discuss with you the issues of prejudice in life.First of all, I'd like to propose a new word for everyone.Tacitus Trap.The word means that when a government is about to lose credibility, all the efforts he makes will be resentful.But in my view, it is not only the government that faces such problems, but also in universities.

We are students of shandong university,that means we have an obligation to protect the face of our school.But we have to admit that our school is falling into the Tacitus trap.Many of the schools' efforts have long been unrecognized in public.A lot of times, we feel helpless about the public views.

As a member of the student union, I have witnessed many efforts of the school for half a year.The same is true of many hostile eyes,When foreign students ride motorcycles on campus, the society challenges our school to protect them.When the girls' day on March 7th, the banner and blessing of the boys were misinterpreted as sexual harassment on the Internet.What's more, when students speak up, they are stopped by cyberbullying.

Indeed, we should be sad about school prejudice.We were angry at the school's denigration and the students were bullied.But for me, I want to


tell you that we should laugh and be tolerant of different opinions.But we should resolutely resist illegal ACTS To remain sober and calm as a student, we should not be extremely angry nor should we feel sorry for ourselves.We

should

keep

hope

and

confidence

in

our

university.Remember their arrogance today, and respond to their prejudices with a winner-takes-all mentality.I firmly believe that, one day, shandong university will be able to impress the public with our unremitting efforts.

As the old saying goes ,the sea admits hundreds of rivers for its capacity to hold .As rational students, we should be more aware of online pride and prejudice and become better people. Thank you for listening to me.
