外研社剑桥小学英语join in 五年级My favourite animal
一、学情分析
五年级的学生学习英语已有一段时间了,他们的听说读写水平也有了一定的基础,通过游戏教学为主,实行小组合作,让学生很好的掌握写作的技巧和技能,从而提升英语写作的水平。 二、 教学目标 1.知识与水平目标
培养学生初步的写作水平、学会叙述自己喜欢的动物。
培养学生基本的造句的水平,掌握一些固定的英语语言表达。 2.过程与方法目标
学会小组合作学习,交流信息,提升英语写作水平。 掌握英语写作中组织语言的基本方法。 3.情感态度价值观目标 通过这个写作,培养学生基本的英语写作水平,培养学生愿意用英语叙述身边的人或事物的习惯。
三、教学重点与难点
学会用英语表达自己的身边事物,用英语介绍自己喜欢的动物。 四、教学准备 动物图片 PPT 五、教学过程 Step 1. Warming up
T: Let’s say the chant—My favourite animal. Ss: Ok.
Step 2 Presentation
1. Review the animal words
T: (1)Show some animals’ pictures , let Ss guess. pig, fox, fish, duck, cow, sheep…
(2) Have Ss read the English words after the teacher for some times.
设计意图:通过情景,带学生到动物园看动物,以游戏形式,让学生猜动物,复习已学习过的动物单词,既能够吸引学生的注意力,又有效地复习学生学过得的单词,让学生学习起来更生活化,更贴近生活更贴近自己,兴趣更浓厚。 (3)Show two animals, have Ss say a sentence.
T: Now, Look at the picture, let’s say a sentence, OK? Ss: OK T: For an example: This is a duck. It has got a mouth. (use PPT , finish the step)
Ss:This is a pig. It has got four legs. (4) Groups work
There are so many animals, now, let’s talk about them in groups, and fill the chart.
S1: This is a cow. It has got two big eyes. It has got a big mouth. It has got a big nose. It has got four legs.
S2: This is an elephant. It has got two eyes. It has got a mouth. It has got a long nose. It has got four legs.

设计意图:通过看图进行句型训练,强化学生对句型的复习,还加上对填表格,把所说的句子转变成文字,提高书写能力,在小组合作上,还可以互相协助共同提高。 2. Learn Reading.
T:We had seen so many animals , how to tell our friends or parents , now, let’s read a passage. (1) Show new reading. Reading:
My favourite animal is an elephant. It lives in Africa. It has got two eyes. It has got a mouth. It has got a long nose. It has got two big ears.
(2)Read after the teacher, and answer some questions. * What’s her favourite animal? Ss; An elephant. * Where does it live? Ss: It lives in Africa. (3) Groups work.
Have Ss finish the blank.
My favourite animal is_______.It lives in Africa and Asia. It has got two_____. It has got a mouth. It has got a long _____.It has got two_____ears.
Show one group’s answer on the blackboard, have Ss check together.
设计意图:通过阅读及回答问题,让学生在描述图中的动物时,可以从它们的外貌来写,比较自然,学生掌握起来比较容易。 3. Write a passage.
Today, we knew how to say the animals , now, let’s write “My favourite animal”
(1)Passage 1 : My favourite animal is_______.It lives in _______. It has got _________. It has got __________. It has got _________.It has got __________.
Passage2: My favourite animal is_______.It lives in _______. It has got____________________________________________. (2)Groups work
Have ss read their writings one by one in groups, choose the best one in each group. (3) Share : Teacher give some comments on those good written works.
设计意图:通过学生有选择性仿写文章,形成阶梯及思维的拓展。让不同程度的学生都可以尝试描述喜欢的动物。在分享中,学生能养成口头表达的能力,促进写作的能力。 Step3 Summary
