I. Ask the students: What problems do you have in your English study? Warming up II. Tell the students they are going to discuss how to

solve their problems in their English study.



I. Ask the students to discuss in groups and list every the students problems in English learning. Then discuss the best ways to solve these problems.

II. Every group lists the difficulties in learning English and the ways to solve the problems by

using the examples on page 28.

III. Make a report and encourage the students to 教学

II. Play the tape of proverbs and ask the students to read after the tape.

III. Play the tape of A Joke, and then ask the students to act it out.
