·把班级同学分几个小组来玩Two Truths and a Lie游戏（详见xvii页）。让学生们想出两件能做的事和一件不能做的事，并随机说：I can run fast, play chess and climb trees. / You can’t play chess! / No, I can’t!

介绍技能Present the Skill (5 min.)

·请志愿者用单词like来组成一个句子。问：What animals do you like? (I like kangaroos.) 在黑板上写其中一个句子。

·告诉学生们，他们要学习用另一种方式来使用单词like. 读条目，学生们跟随。在黑板上写：I’m like a kangaroo.

·指着第二个句子。说：Here, “like” isn’t a verb. It means “similar to.”

·在黑板上写：I like elephants. I like my friend James. James is like an elephant. He’s big and strong. I’m like a lizard. I’m little and fast.让学生们确认用like的比较。
