Living in a Big Family

I live in a big family with 4 generations together. There are 5 people in my family. We share a 3-bedroom flat with each other. My grandparents have got retired and enjoy the love from the grandchild-me. My parents both work in a bank. I study in Fudan University and like the college life very much. Every weekday, we are busy with our own business. But on weekends, our whole family will gather together with Mum cooking delicious food. I love my family and enjoy living in a big family.

生活在一个大家庭中

我生活在一个四世同堂的家庭里。我家有五个人。我们住在有三间卧室的一所公寓里。我的祖父母已经退休了，正享受着来自我作为一个孙女的关爱。我父母都在银行工作。我在复旦大学念书并很喜欢大学生活。每个工作日，我们都忙于自己的事。但在周末，我们一家人会聚到一块，妈妈为我们烹饪可口的食物。我热爱我家，也喜欢生活在一个大家庭中。

My Favorite Season

There are four seasons in a year. They are spring, summer, autumn and winter. Among the four seasons, I like spring best. Why so? Firstly, it’s neither cold nor hot in spring. It is getting warmer and warmer, so I like the weather in spring best. Secondly, many plants will turn green and come back to life in spring, so spring stands for hopes. Thirdly, we can go swimming in the river. All in all, I can do so many things in spring, so spring is my favorite season.

我最爱的季节

一年有四季，春夏秋冬。其中，我最爱的季节是春天，为什么呢？第一，春天既不冷也不热，而是渐渐变暖，所以我最喜欢春天的天气。第二，许多植物春天都会颜色变绿，重新复苏，所以，春天代表着希望。第三，我们可以到河里游泳。总之，春天我可以做许多事情，所以春天是我最爱的季节。 My Dream I have a dream from the first time I sit in a car—I want to drive. Driving is the most meaningful way to meet human being’s desire of “faster”. What’s more, driving a car can take me to any place I want whether it rains, snows, blows or not. A smooth ride in a good car is enjoyable. With rows of trees moving backward rapidly, music played, breeze blowing, my soul flies in the air. I love this feeling very much.


我的梦想

从第一次坐车开始，我就有了一个开车的梦想。驾驶是能满足人类想要“快跑”的愿望的最有意义的途径。还有，无论下雨、下雪、还是刮风，开车我可以去任何我想去的地方。稳稳地开着一辆好车是一种享受。成排的树快速地向后倒退，放着音乐，微风吹着，我的灵魂已飞到了天上。我非常喜欢这种感觉。

A Day to Remember

It was Sunday. Our teacher Mr. Zhu led us to a park nearby. Usually we go to the park to spend our holiday. But today we went there to take part in voluntary labor. We got there at nine o’clock. Mr. Zhu divided us into three groups and then we began working. Group One was responsible to plant trees and water flowers. Group Two were busy collecting litter left by the tourists. I was in Group Three. We went to the children’s playground and cleaned all the equipment there. We worked very hard. At about eleven we finished work. We all were tired but very happy. I will never forget the day in my memory.

难忘的一天

星期天，朱老师带我们去附近的公园。通常我们去公园是度假的。但是今天，我们去那是参加义务劳动。我们九点钟到达，朱老师把我们分成三组，然后我们开始劳动。一组负责种树、浇花。二组忙着收集游客丢弃的垃圾。我在第三组。我们去了儿童游乐场，清扫那里的设备。我们工作很努力，大约11点，我们结束了劳动。我们都很累，但很高兴。我永远都不会忘记记忆中这天。
