Nanook is a white husky (哈士奇狗). He does a lot of great things. For example, he once helped a deaf hiker get out of danger.

Amelia Milling, from Tennessee, USA, loves hiking. In 2018, she went for a 3-day hike alone. At first, everything went well. But on the second day of her trip, her walking stick broke in two and she fell about 180 meters down the side of a mountain. When she felt hopeless, Nanook came to her. He encouraged (鼓励) Amelia to get up and guided her back to the trail (路线). When night fell, Nanook didn’t leave Amelia. He stayed outside her tent to keep her safe.

Amelia fell into an icy river on the third day. Nanook came to help her again. The husky jumped in and pulled her to safety. With Nanook’s help, the woman finally got saved. She said excitedly, “I believe the dog is my guardian angel (守护天使) and I’ll never forget him.”
