绘本故事案例分析 The Hare and the
Tortoise
教材分析：The Hare and the Tortoise讲的是一个耳熟能详的寓言故事，通过骄傲的兔子与勤奋努力的乌龟之间的一场比赛，让学生明白勤能补拙，骄傲使人落后，虚心使人进步。做事情只有脚踏实地，这样才会取得成功。
学情分析：
本课的教学对象是四年级的学生，学生四年级虽然具有一定的语言听说基础和知识积累，但语言交流的基本能力和英语文本的理解能力还比较弱。因此，本课选择学生已经听过的寓言故事，降低学生的理解难度，通过第一课时的阅读教学，帮助学生体会故事情感，理解寓言故事所蕴含的哲理。
教学目标：
1.能通过图片和文字读懂故事及其内涵，理解寓言故事所蕴含的哲理。
2.能运用所学语言大胆表达自己的体会和感悟()，提高综合语言运用能力。
3.能初步掌握绘本的阅读策略和技巧，解决阅读中存在的问题。 教学重点：

T: Do you like animals? What animals can you say in English? T: I will draw an animal. Whatrsquo;s it?（引出乌龟和兔子） 2. Cover-reading
T: What can you get from the front cover? ( title, character, rewriter, illustrator )
Step 2 While-reading 1. 一读：Fast reading T: What are they going to do?
T: Whatrsquo;s the ending of the story?
T: Skimming: Read the whole story quickly and find out the main idea. 【一读：整体把握故事脉络，学习略读的技巧，通过问题引导学生快速通读故事找到主要信息。】
2. 二读：Detailed reading

Step 4 Homework
1. Retell the story to your friends and your parents. 2. Draw your picture books, and rewrite the story. 3. Know more about the fables.
根据不同阶段的学生的单词量，给学生不同的绘本阅读材料并指导学生阅读，这样长期的坚持阅读可以培养学生的英语阅读能力，提高他们的语感，对学生的英语学习起到辅助作用。
