1. Get students ready for class:

1) Listen to the tape; repeat after the tape; follow LT. Then correct pronunciation(if
necessary); elicit key words.

(1) Is Charlotte going to make coffee or tea?
(2) What does Jane think about that? How much milk does Jane want? (3) Does Jane want any sugar? Would Jane like some more coffee? (4) What else would she like? Where does Jane look for cigarettes? (5) Are there any? What is Charlotte’s advice? 5) Ask questions:
