老师们，同学们，上午好：

俗话说，“一寸光阴一寸金，寸金难买寸光阴”。时间是多么的宝贵，希望同学们珍惜时间，多读点好书，充实、丰富自己的头脑。我今天的国旗下讲话，题目就是《珍惜时间，多读点好书》。

俄国著名作家有句名言，“书籍是人类进步的阶梯”。同学们，人的生命是有限的，人的经验只能靠书籍代代相传。古今中外，无数有成就的人，没有一位不是靠读书，在继承前人成果的基础上加以发展而成功的。诸葛亮，人们誉为“智慧的化身”。但他的聪明才智并不是天生的，他的成功主要得益于隆中十年苦读的知识积累。

鲁迅先生，他从来不承认有天才。他深刻的思想和渊博的知识，就是通过勤奋学习、脚踏实地、持之以恒的学习得来的。他自己说，为了多读点书，他甚至把喝咖啡的时间都充分利用起来了。早在青少年时代，鲁迅就养成了爱读书的好习惯，他从1922年到1936年去世这14年的时间里，买了3800多种书来读，有些无力购买或买不到的，他就借来抄。

同学们，现在的书籍更多了，读书是一定有收获的，“知识就是力量”。希望同学们珍惜大好时光，发扬鲁迅先生把喝咖啡的功夫都用在学习和工作上的精神，少贪玩，多读点好书吧！ 我的演讲完了，谢谢大家!

Cherish our time and try to read more books

Dear teachers and schoolmates: Good morning!

It was said that “Time is money, but money is not time”. Time is valuable, and we should make the most of our time. Today, my topic is------- Cherish our time and try to read more books.

There was an old saying in Russian that “Books are flight stairs for the human progress”. Time is limited, and we can only learn the experiences from books. There was never a successful man without reading a lot of books. Even Zhuge Liang, the God of Wisdom, was not born with his knowledgeable mind, either. He earned everything by reading a lot of different books.

Luxun, a writer who did not believe in so called “talented people”, was also a good learner with deep thought and a hard worker with wide mind. In order to read more books, he even made the most of his coffee time. In his early boyhood, he formed the habit of reading. From 1922 to 1936, he worked hard and read more than 3,800 books, some of which he could not buy, so he copied it himself.

Listen to me everyone, we have more books today, and I believe that we can get a lot by reading. “Knowledge is power”. Let’s take Luxun for example and try our best to read more books everyday! That’s all, thank you.
