The similarities and differences between Britain Education and China Education.Which education system do you prefer?And why? Answer: Similarities:

Both Britain and China education system are run by the Ministry of Education. In addition, two countries also establish the law to guarantee children the right to receive a quality education.In China,the education is compulsory.The law is“The Law on Nine-Year Compulsory Education”.And in Britain,education also is compulsory,the law is“Eduction Act”.Besides,two countries have complete education system.They all have pry-primary school, primary school,secondary school, high school,college and vocational school and so on.Apart from, students need to attand examination.Nowadays, although the humanities were considered important, vocational and technical skills were considered paramount for meeting modernization goals.So both Britain and China are all pay more attention to overall quallity. Differences:

The first,in Britain ,the school system is two-track system which included the public school and the private school.And the tutions are free in the public school while those come from the students' parents in the private school.In China,most of schools are public schools.And the tutions come


from the government. The second,in Britain,the social class is still important.The accent people speak with, the cloth they wear, and the school they attend are all markers that identify their social class.While in China, most school pay more attention to student’s grade. The third, historically, education was voluntary and many of the schools that existed were set up by churces. The religion has a great effect on education in Britain.While in China,education is more political.After the Culture Revolution, the national government ceded responsibility for basic education to local governments through the Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Party's "Decision on the Reform of the Educational Structure."The fourth,students have more free time,their parents give them more choice to chose the school in Britain.In China, parents place a very high value on education, and make great personal sacrifices to send their children to school and to university. My opinion:

Each coins has two sides.The Britain education system and China education system are all have benefits and drawbacks.As far as I am concerned,I prefer the education system in Britain.Because,they pay more attention to teaching child.They devote themselves to developing children’s mind and teaching practical skills.Their eduction system is to socialise children and let children to become good citizens,to participate in the community,and to contribute to the society.These qualities are all
